"Salon Kitty" tells the story of an ambitious woman trapped in a web of spies, conspiracies and intrigue, between two powerful and dangerous men, in a world that is inexorably moving towards total destruction. Kitty does everything she can to defend the life she has built up with effort and diligence. Kitty Schmidt ran an exclusive brothel in 1930s and 1940s Berlin, which was the playground of the rich and powerful and at the same time served the Nazis as a large-scale bugging operation.
